The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed in regards to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] sassa status check is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area every day. The provider position designed for intervention activities a significant SRD influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for that Workplace status sassa to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
